We start with Acacia, stereotypical teenage goth girl. Add Bliss, the wild punk-ish girl, to her life, then sit back and watch what happens. Yuri, shoujo-ai, fem-slash, femmeslash, f/f, whatever you want to call it. No homophobic readers, please. This story was written last year for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). Well, that is, the first 65 pages or so were written in that time period. I didn't reach my goal of 50,000 words in one month, but I ended up with a good start to an equally great story. I haven't added on much since then (I've been busy with school, and Almost An Angel took up pretty much any free time I had for writing). Now that summertime is here, however, I've started to go back and edit some of my older stuff, and this was the first story I went to.
For anyone that's read this story before, and is confused by the sudden decrease in chapters… Don't worry. I haven't really changed anything, I've simply reorganized the chapters into longer, more cohesive parts. A few sentences have been deleted from various chapters, and a few paragraphs have been added. The only major change is that I've taken down the last few "chapters". They'll be back soon, I just want to rewrite them—I want the emotions to be just right.
Oh, and for people that haven't read this story, there is homosexuality and non-Christian religions contained within the following chapters. If either of those factors bother you… Well, give my story a try, it may change your mind. If you don't want to risk opening your mind, however, then I recommend that you just walk away before you're scarred. If you continue, it's your fault, not mine—you've been warned!
Well, onto the story. I hope you enjoy what I have posted thus far. The next few chapters should be up within a few days, and new chapters will come sometime later this summer. Enjoy, review if you'd like, but remember—no flames! I take constructive criticism quite well, or even arguments against the content of my story (though that would be better expressed in an e-mail), but no "This sux!1!1!!1 I h8 u, ur going 2 Hell!!!1" I've never been truly flamed, and I'd like to keep it that way, so please be careful about what you write, okay? Thanks!
