Mother

Hold my hand, mother
Give me hugs and kisses
Say that you love me
And will never forget me

Comfort me when I am sad
Hold me when I need you
Say that you'll be my mother
No matter what I do

Wipe my tears, mother
Listen and talk to me
Say that you will help me
Through the mistakes I make

Watch me when I stand
Catch me when I fall
Say that you'll be there for me
No matter how mad I get

Won't you do that, mother
Care and love, hold and comfort
Won't you listen to my pains
Won't you be my mother, mom?
