Hello! My name is Breanna, but I either go by Bre-chan or PinkLemonade. This is my first addition to FP, and I hope you will enjoy it. It is complete, and book two is in the works; however, this note is written 2008 when the story was originally published 2002. I am going through the chapters, one by one, and editing them once again. Many parts and dialogue will be cut; some chapters are going through total re-writes. I currently do not have the original on me, so I cannot supply it to those who ask. Sorry!
Please understand that this is book one, and thus, it is more about character structure. Keep that in mind.
Before you continue, please notice:
WARNING: This story contains yaoi and shounen-ai. If you are unfamiliar with these terms, they basically mean homosexual relationships with two or more men. If you are squicked by this, please click the 'back' button right now. Flames will not be tolerated. This is the last time I warn you.
Now, for those who want to stick around and like yaoi, continue onward... :)
Yaoi Doki Game
By, PinkLemonade aka Breanna
YEAR 2021
A lot of things had changed in the past seventeen years. Technology became more advanced than ever, and yet there were still no flying cars or civilizations on the moon. 2012 proved to be a difficult year, as predicted by the Mayan Calendar, but humanity prevailed in the end, much like before. However, many things needed to be changed, including environment issues. The world of 2021 was a lot cleaner than the era of 2004. Many things stayed the same, superficially speaking. Things like computers, DVDs, television, all those modern day entertainment devices had become more advanced. Even video games themselves.
Tokyo hadn't changed much. The streets were still crowded with people and cars, the subways and trains filled to the brim. The giant ads on the equally tall buildings continued to advertise products of the old and products of the new time. One minute a cute actress was squealing about Coca Cola's new flavor, then another showed a man going on about how wonderful the Holographic Eye Set was. The sun was still blazing in the sky above, and clouds still wandering aimlessly about before it.
"It's here!"
Matsumoto Video Game Stop had never been filled with so many people as it had today. A large crowd of boys and girls, all between the ages of eighteen and up, filed from a long line outside the store and inside. They all looked like a herd of ants, really, all parked in front of one carefully guarded display stand. Five clerks nervously went about stocking the stand while six others went through the painful task of keeping people away.
It was as if the most hottest Japanese celebrity was about to waltz right out from that stand itself, but that wasn't the case. Instead, this large display stand was being set up with numerous brightly packaged, multi-colored game sets akin to larger Game Boys in size. These were the Yaoi Doki Games.
A while back, early that year, it was announced a new dating sim game would be placed on the market. Being so many years ahead in the technology field, this yaoi dating sim was much different than any other. It was a first of its kind, in fact. Each game came with a unique male character, following the standard, but not all, cliche types of the yaoi realm, ala seme, uke, et cetera. Each character came with their own personality, and it was up to the owners to find them a mate, to help them get money and all sorts of other options to interact with the vast world programmed in these tiny games.
Of course everyone needed to have one.
A couple were shopping a safe distance away from the horde of squealing girls and boys, watching with curiosity. "What's going on over there?" the husband asked.
The wife smirked. "I'm surprised you don't know--Nana has been going on about them for months now," she replied. "They're called Yaoi Doki Games. Technologically advanced dating sim things. I pre-ordered one for Nana in the mail. I'd rather cough up the extra money for the pre-order than be caught in -this- mess."
Yume Hateshinai couldn't agree more.
Lurking in a little corner nearby the front of the group was an eighteen year old girl. She was dressed in her school uniform, a pretty short sleeved black, gold buttoned top with matching knee length white skirt and shoes. The red ribbon on her chest signified her status as a third year at Heiwana District High School. Her hair, originally black, had been dyed a dark green, long bangs pulled back in a little barrette. Yume adjusted the thick glasses on her face, trying her best to avoid flailing limbs that would knock them off.
-I should have pre-ordered my copy online, too-, Yume thought. She ducked before an elbow could hit her square in the cheek. Now she felt guilty for having to skip school, but... It seemed everyone else might have ditched, too. Too many, she predicted, for truant officers and teachers to handle. For now, at least.
"C'mon!" a girl in Osaka dialect had she traveled all the way to Tokyo for this game alone? whined, "how much longer are we gonna havta wait!?"
The squall shouted their agreements in return. No matter the comforting replies of the clerks, nobody could hear them over their rambling and snarling impatience. "Oh man, we're going to be killed," one employee whimpered, placing a game on the highest shelf.
As if predicting their blood thirst, the owner of the store approached the front of the group. One of the clerks handed him a megaphone. Switching it on, the group fell into silence and low whispers. "Ladies and gentlemen," he declared in the megaphone, a loud booming voice echoing the entire store, "we are very pleased to have so many customers today at Matsumoto Game Store Stop. We're also quite flattered that our store was chosen to be the first to release the Yaoi Doki Games in all of Japan. We ask you to calmly grab your purchase, pay and leave in an orderly fashion, as not to harm nor upset any other customers."
The crowd twitched with anticipation. Yume took a deep breath--in a matter of seconds, she had to prepare herself for a possible stampede.
The owner gestured away his employees. They left as quick as their legs could carry them. "With that..." he said in the megaphone. He then jumped away. "... Enjoy your shopping!" And he was gone in a flash.
With a loud roar, the wave of people flew forward like a mighty tsunami. Yume had underestimated the prowess of a mob and was thrown forward. Greedy hands snatched up the games, caring very little of what color or versions they were. "Ow ow! Watch out!" Yume gasped when hands came flying at her face.
In a vain attempt to crawl over Yume, a girl knocked her onto the ground. Yume quickly pressed her hands to her glasses as she fell forward. She knew the scenario--nerdy girls like her fell over, their glasses fell off and then someone steps on them. She managed to protect her face, ignoring the jolt of pain in her elbows in the process.
As more people hurled over her, she quickly curled into a ball, protecting her head. The ground quivered with numerous thumps and thuds, and luckily, she had only been stepped on once. However, they had stepped on the end of her skirt, nearly pulling it right off. She managed to yank it back on before the sight got real embarrassing.
Finally, in what seemed for hours, the crowd dispersed into a cluster of people. Yume groaned as she slowly crawled to her feet. She adjusted her crooked glasses, flattened down her messy hair and swept off her uniform, which was covered in dust from all the dirty shoes. When she looked up, a boy had grabbed the last game from the shelf. The stand was picked clean to a skeleton. One shelf had even collapsed into another from all the abuse it suffered.
Yume frowned sadly. -I'm... I'm too late...- She couldn't believe this. She had saved up so much money for this day, skipped school and even risked her life to get one of these damn games. And now they were all gone. In disbelief, she stared at the naked stand as one of the pale clerks came to clean up the mess.
"Go home, girl," he sighed, sweeping away dust, "we don't get another shipment until tomorrow."
Yume blinked at him, before reality settled in. She would leave empty handed. Bowing her head, she picked up her briefcase which had fallen nearly a yard from her and went to leave. She stopped then, lifted her head and shot the display stand one more pitiful loo--
Oh, but lo and behold!
By miracle or something else, wedged deep in the back of the second shelf, was one final, blue Yaoi Doki Game. It had been pushed back by all the fuss and completely ignored. Yume's face brightened and with a quick pump of adrenaline, she soared forward and grabbed the game.
Only to have someone grab it at the same time.
Yume looked over to see a blonde girl standing next to her, her manicured hand clutching the bottom of the game, with Yume holding the top. The blonde girl eyed her with disdain and gave the game a tug. "I saw it first," she snapped.
"No, I did!" Yume insisted. By instinct, she gave the game a yank back.
The two girls glared at one another fiercely. They pulled and fought, eventually getting into a tug-o-war game that nearly ended with the Yaoi Doki Game being broken in half, even for its tough exterior. Girls had incredibly strength when it came to getting what they wanted. The clerk had stopped sweeping, joining a small group of customers and employees to observe the fight.
Finally, Yume and the blonde stopped pulling and took a moment to breath and relax. Yet they still clutched firmly onto the game. "F-Fine," the girl panted, "we'll settle this over a game! Whoever win gets the YDG!"
"Game?" Yume thought. She offered, "How about chess?"
"I'm not a nerd!!" the blonde snapped, causing Yume to wince. Not wanting to fight, she decided to let the girl choose the game. The blonde stroked her chin with her free hand before snapping her fingers. "Jan-ken-po! We'll settle this over jan-ken-po!"
"Oooo," the onlookers awed.
"S-Sure..." Yume swallowed. She always sucked at that damn game. Always chose the wrong option, and then, always looked in the same direction when it came to the pointing part. She remembered playing it with her mom two days ago, who needed money for groceries. She played jan-ken-po with her daughter, winning the entire first round, cackling her victory. Yume was forced to give her that week's allowance as the loser.
"You aren't scared... are you?" the blonde snickered, folding her arms over her chest. She put on her best villainous grin.
"Ooo!" the observers whispered. "Maybe there'll be blood..." someone muttered.
Yume glared at the girl and knew she couldn't back out of this now. She laid the Yaoi Doki Game at her feet and rose her hand.
"Let's do it!" Yume smirked. She tried to sound brave, and she succeeded, fisting her hand.
"WAIT!!" the girl exclaimed, flailing her arms. Yume blinked, lowering her fist. The blonde held out a small Daruma toy and stated, "I must make my wish known to Daruma-sama! Chu!" And with that, she turned her back on Yume, who gaped in alarm, and drew one pupil on Daruma's eye with her eyeliner. She bowed to Daruma, then whirled around to face Yume. "Okay! Let's play!" she shouted, a twinkle of possible victory in her eye. The girl then held out her fist.
Yume nodded weakly, raising hers.
The crowd's eyes bugged from their skulls.
Inhaling deeply, the two waved their fists at each other, chanting, "Jan-ken-pon! Jan-ken-pon! Jan-ken-pon!"
With a quick shift of the girl's snaky eyes, that was the sign to choose the weapon. Yume prayed to her own little Daruma at home, as she held out a pair of scissors. She shut her eyes tightly and waited for the blonde to scream and laugh in victory, then dance about and take the Yaoi Doki Game. But instead she got the most irritated, whiny wail from her competitor. Slowly, she opened her eyes and nearly cackled herself.
Yume had drawn scissors, and the foolish girl, a sheet of paper!
Instantly, feeling the blood pump through her veins, Yume shouted boldly, "Achi muite hoi!" The girl bit her lip, and at the calling of 'hoi,' turned her head to the right as Yume pointed quickly to the right. Yes! She had won!
"Noo!" the blonde wept, nearly clawing her eyes out in shock and horror.
The crowd all cheered for Yume's victory, clapping and whopping. Yume bowed graciously to her audience, holding the game to her chest. She then looked up to assure her weary competition, but the girl was gone. She looked through the crowd and spotted the blonde dragging herself to the doors. A cloud of sadness and shame loomed over her bowed head.
Yume had never seen someone so depressed. As the crowd went back to their shopping and working, Yume looked down at the game then back to the girl. She frowned, guilt sweeping over her. It wasn't like this was the only game left in Japan. There'd be plenty more tomorrow, right? Yume was sad at the idea that she wouldn't get one today, but not to the point the blonde girl was at.
Out of pity, with a heavy sigh, Yume approached the girl before she could leave and tapped her on the shoulder. The blonde glared back at her with the seasoned face of a damaged soul, but when Yume rose the game without a word, just a kind smile, the girl understood. "Kyaaa!" the girl screeched. She snatched the game from Yume's hand hungrily, dotted the other eye to her Daruma doll and fled to the register to make her purchase.
"Y-You're welcome..." Yume grumbled, her grin twitching. Such an ungrateful...
Yume slung her briefcase over her shoulder and decided, it was for the best. As she made her way to the exit, she had no idea the clerk sweeping had been watching her. His eyes swelled with sadness; such a thoughtful, wonderful girl. He could sympathize with her pain. Moments ago he had played a round of jan-ken-po and lost, resulting in him being the only one cleaning up the mess.
-Poor girl-, the lonely clerk thought, returning to work, -she deserved...-
Oh, but it seemed Yume was not completely out of luck as suspected. One of his coworkers had left behind a box that carried all the Yaoi Doki Games. Picking it up, the employee was surprised to see, in one lonely corner, a single lime green YDG. It looked a little damaged, but it was in fairly good condition. He figured it was just superficial.
With a bright smile, the boy snatched up the game and darted after Yume. "Girl, hey girl!" he shouted excitedly. Yume slowly turned and watched as the man ran over to her. With a gasp, he held the game to her face. "I--I found one! O-One last one!"
Yume's eyes widened in awe and shock. "It..." she swallowed. She didn't know if her eyes were deceiving her, so she adjusted her glasses. Still, the clerk was holding the game to her, smiling all the while. "I..." she sputtered, blinking.
"Take it," the boy said, nudging her shoulder with it, "you deserve it! You gave that bratty girl the one you won, though you definitely should have just kept it. I wish I had a girlfriend like you, but that's not important...!"
Yume stared at him, then the Yaoi Doki Game, then back at the clerk... Her eyes got very huge and crystallized as they glazed over with melodramatic tears.
"THANK YOU!!" she wailed, leaping upon the shrieking clerk and hugging him. The man just gasped out a 'welcome' and smiled. Yume gave him one last squeeze around the neck, before standing with a giggle, bowing and heading off to the register to pay for the game.
As soon as she paid, Yume gave the recuperating clerk one last wave and 'thank you' before darting out of the store.
"I'll be upstairs!"
Yume stormed into her house, kicking off her shoes and forgetting her slippers. Her mom peeked out from the kitchen. "How was school?" she inquired.
"No, maybe later!" Yume replied thoughtlessly. She tossed aside her briefcase. It soared across the room, nearly hitting her father in the head as he read his paper. He ducked just in time for it to fly past him and into the curtains. Yume ran clumsily up the stairs and into her room, slamming the door behind her.
Her room was quaint, with a simple bed and a waste basket full of clothes. On a cherry wood desk by her dresser was a computer and a cup full of pencils and pens. Her closet door was open, revealing coats, dresses and nice shirts she rarely ever wore on hangers. Butterflies of all colors border lined her walls, as posters of the famous rock star singer, Yuki Tomita were plastered on the ceiling.
She plopped down on the edge of her bed and looked over the shiny box. The Yaoi Doki Game looked like nothing more but a slightly larger, bright, baby blue hand held Game Boy. Using some handy scissors she snatched off her desk, she tore the box open with near psychotic glee.
Yume brushed off the new, untouched game and eyed the glowing, dark screen. She unfolded the paper directions, nearly collapsing when they rolled out so far, they hit the ground! But, with a sigh, she laid her game down and decided to take the smart route. First know what she was dealing with.
She laid back on her bed, kicking and shoving off her shoes (her mom would yell at her for not putting on her house slippers), as she carefully read over the directions and instructions.
About an hour later, the charger and game were all set up. Yume powered her Yaoi Doki Game for a half an hour as the directions commanded. Now, with a fluttering heart, she was going to began playing with it for the first time.
When she pressed the pink heart shaped 'on' button and instantly, the black screen lit up to white. To her amazement, after the bright title of the game product and its creators flashed on the screen, a figure appeared. He had white, short and messy hair, and large, beautiful clear eyes with no color. He wore only a pair of boxers on his lithe, thin body. This humanoid creature opened his eyes and rose his head, smiling when he noticed the confused face staring directly at him.
"Hi, there! You must be my owner, yes?"
Yume blinked, noticing the pretty boy was waving at her. "So... it's true... You CAN interact with the game, and the game interacts with you. W-Wow..." Yume squeaked, clutching the game possessively as she drew it closer to her face.
The boy nodded, chuckling. "Correct! What might be your name?" he asked, swinging his arms behind his back.
She couldn't believe this was happening! She was talking to a -video game-... "Uhh, Hateshinai... Yume, Hateshinai. And--and you?" Yume finally answered, bowing her head as an excuse for a real bow.
The boy shrugged quietly. "You haven't give me one yet," he answered.
"Oh, right, right! Well, umm--" Yume, while trying to talk to the boy on the screen and look for the directions, was interrupted by a cute giggle.
"Just push the third button in the second row. My birth records will come up and you can fill them out," the boy informed with a raise of his finger, right next to his perfect smile. Yume laughed nervously; she couldn't believe HE was telling HER what to do. She pushed the aforementioned button, and instantly, a new screen appeared over the boy, covering him up for blank lines and questions.
Yume panicked; did she delete the boy!? She sighed in relief when he peeled away the corner of the screen as if it were paper and poked his head out. "Don't worry! Just fill out my records, then push the button twice to save it. I'll come back into view after you're finished," he assured, withdrawing his head.
"Th--thanks," was all Yume could manage. She sighed then smiled as she looked over the questions. A small keyboard of buttons was able to be pulled out and pushed back in on the side of the game. She pulled it out and started to fill out the record's questions.
Date of Birth. "Ummm, September 14th!"
Zodiac sign. "Virgo!"
Bloodtype. "B! Definitely!"
Owner. "Yume Hateshinai!"
Name. "... Um..."
Yume looked over the screen quietly. She never did think of a name for him. She didn't even know what to call him. Yume stared for a little bit longer, biting the corner of her lip. Then, she caught sight of the poster above her head.
The famous, gorgeous rock star singer, Yuki Tomita.
Yume grinned widely and typed in the name box. "Yuki... Yuki..." She didn't want to use his exact name. She snapped her fingers, typing; "Yuki Kirei! All done!" She laughed, hitting the button twice. The word "SAVE" flashed on and off the screen before it faded and once more showed the boy. He sat quietly on the white ground, looking over the palms of his hands.
"So, my name is Kirei Yuki, hmm?" he asked, looking curiously up at Yume with his big, clear eyes.
Yume smiled and nodded, before frowning. "You--you don't like it?"
The boy quietly stood, brushing off his boxers. He looked stern, making Yume feel uncomfortable. He really did hate his name... He then threw open his arms and laughed, "I love it! Yuki Kirei! Such a lovely name! I must be beautiful if you've given me such a name, haha!"
Yume sighed in relief, her muscles relaxing.
"So, tell me, I may only be an... hour or so old, but physically, what is my age?" Yuki asked, once more sitting down on the ground. Yume thought over this for a moment or two, just examining Yuki on the screen.
"You look about eighteen. Physically, I'll make you eighteen. But, how come you were made out so... so... so cute?" Yume answered, placing a finger to her lip. Yuki looked more boyish than handsome; she expected the former.
The digital boy stared up at her, as if he was the clueless one. "I'm the Yaoi Doki Game Uber-Uke Version. All Uber-Ukes look like me... Well, not until you personalize my looks. Didn't you read on the box about me being a Uber-Uke Version?" Yuki asked, confused. There was a type of disappointment in his tone, as if he was ashamed for the both of them.
Yume remembered reading about these different Yaoi Doki Game "versions." They each followed the labels of the common cliche terms in the yaoi entertainment field, but personality-wise, it could go either way. She suspected the creator didn't want to use too much of the stereotype's qualities. But Yuki reminded her of all those cute boys dominated so easily in all her yaoi manga. Thank God he didn't look like a girl, though.
The green haired girl frowned, biting her lip again. "Well, actually, every other game was sold out and you were the last, so I didn't have time to look at your label..." she informed lowly, bowing her head.
Yuki frowned sadly. "Oh, so you don't really want me..."
Yume immediately burst to her feet, the game close to her face. Yuki nearly fell back at how close she was to the screen. "No! No, not at all! I like uber-ukes, I do! I was just confused as to why you looked so... cute! I thought I got some sort of big muscular type, y'know? But, no, I really want you!" Yume assured in a flustered voice, nearly stammering a couple times, having to swallow and catch her breath.
The teenaged boy blinked then giggled. "I believe you! Ooo!" He quickly wrapped his arms around him with a shiver.
Yume slowly sat back down, curious. "Are you okay?" she asked.
Yuki shivered. "It's really cold in here, you know that?" he coughed.
"It's... cold where you are?"
"In the YDG Realm," Yuki explained, "we also have 'seasons.' Currently, winter is all most over, so it's still a bit nippy. I -am- only in my boxers, you know..."
"Oh, oh, sorry!" Yume apologized. "What can I do?"
"How about some clothes, huh?" Yuki asked, looking upwards. Above his head was a small row of tiny heart shaped icons leading to three different features at the top of the screen.
"Oh, I forgot! Okay, hold on!" Yume apologized. She quickly hit the first button; the screen split in two. One half showed Yuki, while the other opened up to a closet full of tops. They varied in sizes, length, sleeves or no sleeves, designed or simple, et cetera. Yume was amazed at the selection. However, anything with a shadow cast over it meant she could not buy it until she collected points, or, in the YDG realm, "money."
"Ooo! Stop right there!"
At the squeal, Yume clicked the first button. The selection stopped on one shirt; it was a turtle neck sleeved black top. "Can I wear that one?" Yuki asked, reaching for the shirt. Yume nodded with a smile. Yuki beamed as he snatched the shirt from the closet, causing the window to close. Yuki slipped on the sleeved shirt and purred as he started to feel a bit warmer, hugging his arms.
Yume hit the second button, causing half the screen to now show clips of pants or shorts he could wear. It even had a selection of skirts. Yume was the one to decide when they stopped this time. She hit the button and it landed on a pair of baggy black levi pants.
"How about that one? Matches great with your shirt!" Yume recommended.
Yuki clapped his hands. "Just thinking the same thing!" he replied, reaching over the bar that separated him and the other half of the screen. He pulled the pants into his grasp and within a few minutes, was now wearing them. "Much warmer, thank you!" Yuki cheered, bowing to the girl then standing, arms in the air. Yume giggled; she thought Yuki was pretty cute. She then noticed the third and final button.
"Kirei-kun; what's that third button do?" Yume asked, pointing to it.
Yuki looked up and noticed the button. He smiled warmly back at his mistress. "It's a Misc. Clothes button. Click that, and miscellaneous clothes like coats or socks or undergarments will appear. As well as different types of accessories, which we can use to add little flares and personal designs to my clothes," Yuki answered.
"Oh. That's great!" Yume stated, pushing the third button. She quickly got him some black socks and shoes; Yuki took them with a cheerful 'thank you.' He slipped them on, all the while singing about how warm and happy he was.
"So, Kirei-k--
"Call me Yuki, Yuki!"
"Y-Yes, all right... Yuki-kun, is it true that after your first outfit is selected, you have to pay for the rest of your outfits?" Yume asked, reaching over her bed for the directions.
Yuki nodded as soon as he got on his other sock. "True! These are my only clothes until I can get enough money to pay for more! It's like the real world; you have to have money to get the things you need and want," he informed in a stern but lighthearted voice, wagging a finger at her. Yume only found him more adorable when he tried to be serious. "How about giving me a little color? You know? My hair and eyes!" Yuki suggested, running a pale hand through his white, short hair.
"Of course!" chuckled Yume, hitting another button as instructed via the directions. A new set of buttons appeared in place of the other three. She pushed the first one, and at the top of the screen, shades of color appeared. All shades, from the dullest to the brightest of the rainbow and beyond.
"Hair color! I like that one! That one!" Yuki exclaimed as he pointed to the lime green color on the selection. Yume had no idea why he wanted it lime green, but he had good tastes for all she was concerned. She quickly tapped a finger on the lime green color and instantly, Yuki chuckled as the white in his hair now drained to short, wild, untamed lime green.
"Now, for eye color... let's do chartreuse, too! You can never have enough green!" Yume sniggered, pushing the second, smaller button. Colors appeared on the screen once more, and Yume instantly touched the lime green blotch. The color splattered into Yuki's eyes and with a couple blinks and eye rubs, his eyes were now beautiful and lime green.
"Yuki-kun! You're so adorable!" Yume giggled. "We even match!"
Yuki pressed a hand to his pink cheek.. "Stop it, you're making me blush!"
Suddenly, the door to her room opened and in walked her mother, holding up the phone. "Yume, Sakura-san's on the phone for you," she informed. Yume nodded and took the phone. Yuki could barely see Yume's mother from this angle; rather, he went back to staring at his owner instead.
"Hello, Sakura-chan?"
"Yume-chan, Yume-chan, I got a YDG! A sexy, sexy seme!!" Sakura cackled.
Yume sat up straight; she got a seme? Her best friend got a seme!? "Hey, Sakura-chan, you got a Seme Version!? I thought they were all sold out!?"
Sakura answered proudly, her beam all most showing through the phone, "Yup! Named him Akane! Akane for 'red.' Like passion, intensity and sexuality, huhu..."
Yume thought for a moment, looking back at Yuki and his curious, glossy eyes. An idea suddenly fell over her... "Hey, Sakura-chan, remember how we promised a long time ago that when we grow up, our kids would marry one another?"
"Yes, I do remember that! You're having the girl! I'll take care of the boy! And if you have a boy, my boy's gonna top yours!" Sakura stated, half-jokingly, half-matter-of-factly.
"Well, let's start early, okay?" Yume teased with a grin.
"Oi? Yume-chan, you don't have a boyfriend! How are you going to start early without someone to have sex with and have the child!" Sakura, royally confused, asked on the other end.
Yume threw herself into a short fit of laughter. This time Sakura wasn't the amused one, because she had no idea what the hell was going on. "No, no! My Yaoi Doki Game is a Uber-Uke Version! My uber-uke should hook up with your seme!" Yume suggested, wagging a finger; her voice was suave as if she was sealing up a deal.
Sakura squealed instantly, all most too loudly, Yume had to pull the phone from her ear. "That's a great idea! That's so great, Yume-chan! Perfect! I'll bring Akane right over! Hopefully we'll get them hooked up instantly, that way we can see a little action!" Sakura cackled again
Yume blinked before stating, "Well, let's not rush into anything or--"
"That's wonderful, Yume-chan! See you in fifteen minutes! Bye!" And with that excited giggle, Sakura hung up, leaving Yume listening to a dial tone for a moment or two. Yume hung up the phone, staring at it and slowly shaking her head.
"That girl is way too obsessed..." Yume muttered, before getting up and walking back to her desk where her YDG sat. "My friend Sakura is coming over in a few minutes. She's dying to meet you, and introduce you to her Yaoi Doki Game Seme... Akane, she says was his name," Yume informed.
"Mm, sounds nice, I can't wait to make new friends!"
Yume laughed, rubbing the back of her head. She tittered, "Well, maybe, according to Sakura-chan, more than just friends..."
Yuki blinked and looked curiously up at Yume. Yume couldn't help but think he was the most adorable creature she had ever seen. Any Yaoi Doki Game Seme or even Uber-Uke would be attracted to him.
"Hmm? Then... what?"
Yume rose a finger. With a giggle, she answered, "Maybe a best friend... with benefits?"
Notes:
Yaoi Doki Game:
- Yaoi is short for yama nashi, ochi nashi, imi nashi or no climax, no punch line, no meaning.". All together, this word means "love/sex between two or more men"
- Doki is a sound effect in Japanese for "heart beat." Usually that thumping type you have when you see the boy/girl of your dreams, etc.
All together, the name translates as Yaoi Heartbeat Game, but if want to be technical, Yama Nashi Ochi Imi Nashi Heart Beat Game. XDD
Daruma Doll: Read the "daruma doll" article on wikipedia for more information.
Jan-ken-pon: Japanese version of "paper-rock-scissors." If you lose at the first part (say, paper over scissors), the winner will say a line (as mentioned above) and point in a direction. If you happen to look in the same direction being pointed at, you lose the game.
Names:
Hateshinai Yume:
- Yume means "dream."
- Hateshinai means "everlasting."
So together, her name means "everlasting dream" or "dream everlasting"
Yuki Kirei:
- Yuki means "snow."
- Shor for kirei na, which means "beautiful."
So together, his name means "beautiful snow."
Keep in mind, these words can mean various others; it all depends on the kanji. I'd show the kanji, but fp won't let me. Waaah
Hope you'll stick around for chapter two. :)
