Cold and dark
Black as hell

Terror grips your heart
Drives you to the wall

Your body starts to tremble
Lump forms in your throat

Open your mouth
And try to scream

But nothing comes out
And silence lays around

You stumble and trip
So lost and confused

You begin to run
Blinded in the dark

Hands reach out to grab you
Eerie voices in your ears

Fall to the ground
Start to shake and cry

You pray for a familiar face
Yearn for a comforting touch

No one will come to save you though
And the nightmare continues on
