Chapter 1: Asuka The Dragon Blade’s Welder

3000 years after that battle on the planet Suisei. Everyday they are under the fear of Kuro-Tenjinashi, the dark wizard. But there was still hope, for in a legend it states that whomever welds the Dragon Blade shall be the one to defeat Kuro-Tenjinashi. Unfortunately the blade was no where to be found so the legend was just another story the people. Only the royalty thought there was still hope.

“Amaya! Where are you?! It’s time for your music lessons!” shouted Queen Ai. Her daughter was never into the customs a princess had, Amaya was mostly interested in sword fighting. Her daughter was the most unusual of the three daughters she had had, Arisu, and Akiko were all normal. They were obedient and lovely, they would take music, dancing, art, embroidery, and the other lessons seriously, but Amaya was a different case. She hated those lessons and had convinced her father to let her learn magic.

“Why should I learn how to sing or play the flute? It’s not worth it!” complained a familiar voice. Queen Ai looked up and in the cherry blossom tree sat Amaya. Dressed in her usual green/black tank-top and navy blue pants. Her long black hair came a little down below her shoulders and part of her bangs covered her left eye, she had always thought that style made her look mysterious.

“Amaya! Come down from there! Hurry up or you shall not go to the Taiyokei Temple to study magic!”

“Alright already!”

It was always like this, after the music lesson Amaya rushed down to the Taiyokei Temple to meet up with her friend Chikako, who was studying to become a high priestess. As soon as she got to the temple she saw the golden hair girl waiting for her.

Chikako said, “My, this is the first time you were nearly late!”

Amaya, “I’m so sorry! But the music teacher wanted to make sure that I had memorized the song completely before I left!”

“That’s okay, not let’s go to the priest and learn how to use the elemental magic!”

“I’ll race you!”

After the magic lessons Amaya trudged along home slowly, she stopped by the Sword Dome and watched the students learn the ways to use a sword.

“You really want to be there learning all of this don’t you?” asked a cocky voice. Amaya looked up and saw Katashi sitting on the gates, his jet black hair always stuck up in spikes and his all-to familiar cloak he always wears. Strapped to his back was a huge sword.

“Aren’t you suppose to be studying for your test tomorrow?” asked Amaya.

“I’ve got better things to do then sit around and read!”

“Well sorry!”

“Katashi! Get back in here!” yelled his mother. Taking him by the ear she dragged him back into the house.

“Ow! Watch the ear! The ear!” he cried as he tried to squirm away. Amaya shrugged and went on her way.

As she pasted an alleyway a hand reached out and grabbed her, pulling her into the darkness. As soon as she pulled herself free she turned to look at the person who had grabbed her. He appeared to be the same age as her, he had dark brown hair, a bandage on his right arm, a headband wrapped around his forehead, and shocking emerald green eyes, the deepest green she had ever seen.

“I hope I didn’t startled you too much…” he said quietly. “But I do want to ask you to do me a favor…”

“What favor?” Amaya asked. He threw a sword at her and it landed at her feet. As she picked it up she felt strange power flowing through her veins and she heard a song, the song of the guardian dragon Ryuseiu.

“So the Dragon Blade did choose you… Strange…” he muttered. Amaya stared at him as he backed off into the darkness. “Don’t tell anyone of our meeting…”

“Wait! Who are you!?” He didn’t answer that question as he faded away into the shadows…

So what do you think? I hoped you enjoyed it! I don’t know whether I shall get the next chapter up soon. I’m still working on my Akurei Shinzo/Yu-gi-oh! Crossover fanfic Heart of a Demon. (Yes I am advertising!) Review!
