Lion's Heart

Bright and shining like the moon

Nay you shall not find out so soon

Pale and cold

I know them so well

The heart of the lion burning within

I assure you by the time I'm through

You shall miss your next of kin

So different from all I have seen before

You're the one I most miss

Since the time of our first kiss

In your hand grasped so tight

Glinting bright against the night

Shining pale, glowing blue

All that you miss

I know that I once knew

And I know what pumps your blood

For a sword is more than a weapon, but a gift

And yours is your soul

Battle is your life

And your mind is of the lion

Your sword is your heart

And I belong to you

In the land where we live

My heart shall be true
