Author's Note:

I was having a crappy day...and it did wonders for my poetry, nothing like missing all the fun stuff you like to do in favor of work you don't feel like doing (and I mean repeatedly, like five different times, one right after the other), and on top of that finding out at 10:30 at night that you have to have your resume for the job that you really want done by midnight, and you don't know how to write a resume...then when you sit down to write it, your desk chair breaks and you end up on the floor. Seriously...that really happened, and I did stand out in the cold and try not to cry. =_=
Anyway, you're sick of hearing about my crappy day, on with the poem!
Standard poetry disclaimer applies, poetry and insanity belong to me. =^_~=

Out in the Cold
LH-chan '02

The world strikes out
from all sides.
Who?
What?
How?
Why?
Enough to make me
want to cry.
But it would seem weak,
to be so bold.
Instead,
I'll just stand here,
out in the cold.
