Crying In The Night

This kind of reflects on the lonliness that comes with insomnia, I think... I'm not even sure where the words came from.

Crying In The Night

You saw me, heard me, sat and stared,
So why did you just leave me there?
Crying in the night.

You slept without a care, it seems,
But I was stopped by troubled dreams,
Crying in the night.

You watched me slowly slip away,
You didn't want me there to stay,
Crying in the night.

I wanted help, you made it worse,
Were you a blessing or a curse?
And now, you'll find me here first,
Crying in the night.
