Velcome. This is whohasthezebra, as a co-author to be. If you like this little snippet, review! If you are good little girls and boys and others, then perhaps we will expound and maybe I'll actually write something besides this Authors' Note. Umm…read and review. If you have flames, you probably are looking for something to criticize, as we really don't have much here, do we? Butr you can change that!

Once upon a time, long long ago; not in a galaxy far far away, but in a forest just up on yonder hill lived a young elven girl looking not much older than 15 or so. She had been abandoned about a century ago by her kind. She had fallen and bumped her head knocking herself unconscious, only to be forgotten.
This young girl had been raised ever since by her nanny, I suppose you could say, who was in fact the very tree that she lived in. This tree went by Mother Willow and cared deeply for the girl, having raised her from her childhood
This child, well no longer a child but a young elven woman, was quite talented and had a strange knack with horses. She was also quite the trickster: she would sneak up to the castle kitchens and "borrow" food and silver. Mind you this was her only way of survival. She would sometimes go to the bakeries after-hours and pose as a beggar, though she would share with the real vagabonds and such.

Press the little button, you know you want to….
