To wish upon a glazing star

For those cherished near and far

Giving thanks for all around us

Is simply a spirited must

On this warm loving Christmas

So why pout and fuss?

Gazing up into the stars

Above the Heavens so far

Wishing everyone, everywhere

To have love and warmth to share

For Christ was born this day

Only to die, taking our sins away

Adding a spirited shift

Were the Magi ant their gifts

Giving presents to one and all

Is a jolly fat Santa Clause

Coming and going each year

Delivering toys for all the girls and boys

So a spirited greeting to each of us

Upon this glorious Christmas!
