A demon prowls, hunting prey

Black against a blood-red moon

A relentless monster shunned forever

Not sent to even beg a boon

A hunter of demons stalks around

Risking life for a job

Returning their bodies to the ground

As Nature's plan perceived

Remember your enemies

Or they shall return

Be ready for surprises

That make the ground you walk upon churn

An ally gained, a foe lost

Demon and hunter meet in the night

Against the blood-red moon

Both wonder what is right

The moonlight shines,

A ray, newly bright, gives light to the unforeseen

Perception of the what-ifs

Shine brightly with new gleam

They wander off, in the night

Allies or enemies unknown

Accepting each other, as few have done

Ignoring the scarlet moon.
