Writing is never being alone.

You can carry your characters wherever you go.

There will never be a time where you lack a friend.

Writing is singing to the wind

Letting it be carried away

Allowing yourself to be judged by others

And somehow not caring.

Writing is loving what you do

Writing is itching to create words

Writing is an addiction

You can’t live without it

Your mind constantly composes your next symphony

Without humming a note.

Writing is staying awake for long hours

Inspired, Imagining, Dreaming

Being other places and seeing other people

Writing is denying the real world

Its mundane nature

It is denying the browns and grays.

Writing is seeing something twitch in the blackness of your eye

Is like being God.

Is allowing characters who only exist in black and white

To make you laugh, to make you cry.

Writing is when a character does what they want to do

Rather than what you want them to do.

Writing is talking to your characters

And having them talk back.
