Over the Moors
By: Neko-chan
A/N: Song that I wrote for one of my original stories. It has a Celtic feel to it (which would make sense since my story has a Celtic flavoring to it...). The tempo is a little bit hard to get, but it's something a kin to "Greensleeves." Not QUITE, though. I hope you like it, anyway...
"Over the moors and under the moon, here is a song, my darling. Sing it to me, O sing it to me. Sing it to me while we dance. Here do we stand, O here do we stand, O here do we stand in the moonlight. The trees stand to watch, the wind joins our song, and the stars come join our dance. Over the moors and under the moon, you sing your song to me. It lasts through the night and is sung in the day and lasts through all the ages."
"Over the moors and under the moon, I'll be with you, my darling. Come sing with me, O come sing with me, and we'll banish the dark and the night."
