The knowledge that you're leaving
Fills me
With a deep sense of dread
Thinking I will never see you again.
You say you'll come back,
But when
Will my hands touch your silky face
Again?
One last night we leave,
Out into a field of dreams
And cows.
We say our last good-bye,
For real this time.
We both say, "I'm no good at this,"
And then we hug
And I blow a kiss
To my love.
