The Sandman

Listen to the wind at night.

You had better cover up tight!

For the Sandman is always here,

Waiting for the time you fear.

The clock strikes the witching time,

When my power is at its prime.

Now listen here, and listen well.

Listen to my fearful spell.

My ghostly tune will haunt you,

Even after I'm well through.

With my song, I'll steal you soul,

Leaving you to die, breathless and cold.

Fear not of me, my little child.

Sleep tender and sweet, Letting dreams go wild.

Come to you, Oh yes I will

With all ghastly deeds to fulfill.

Sleep well and soft, my little friend,

For your life, is at its end!
