I stepped onto the ice, quivering.

I stood there with my legs shaking.

I took one glide, and then another

Hoping that I would not fall.

You were right there beside me.

There with an outstretched hand

And I knew it'd be alright.

You would help me back up.

You came to my rescue,

Helped me aside,

And I knew you'd fix it all.

You wouldn't leave 'til I was better.

You were there to catch me.

I looked into your eyes,

And I knew I was safe.

Then all my fears just disappeared.
