A/N: YAY!! NEW FICCY!! Okies, the idea is mine, the character is (basically) mine, and the history is (of course) mine, but the origin of the character isn’t mine. Sakuri is from Chavi West Wind’s ficcy “As the Red Moon Rises.” She let me do it ‘cause Sakuri is, well, ME! looks around happily isn’t that cool? Any ways, Sakuri is about 10 in here, but I think I’ll make her older soon…. Okies, enjoy the ficcy!
!! !!
She stood before the counsel of elders of her village. They glared at her angrily and more than a little sternly.
“What have tee to say about this?” Rolondo, the lead elder, asked.
“I didn’t do it!” she pleaded, her voice cracking in an effort to stand still. “I never killed them! It wasn’t me!”
Glorna, her great-grandfather, stepped forward and glared menacingly at her. “Thou hast killed thine parents, my children!” he growled. “thee must pay for it!” (A/N: can I be any more cruel? Her own great-grandfather…)
“But I didn’t do it!” she pleaded again. Rolondo shook his head.
“Thou hast never been know to do anything harmful to any member of our village. But here we have evidence of your doing it. Please bring forth the witness.” A young girl, about 10 years old, stepped forward with tears in her eyes. She recognized the girl as her best friend, Mirana. “Now, tell the counsel exactly what you saw, please, young lady.”
“Yes sir,” the girl said, sniffling. “I saw her, running out of the house with blood running down her mouth and chin. She had these really sharp….fangs hanging from her upper lip.” Mirana gasped and closed her eyes tightly. “She did it! I swear! She killed the only family I had! The only true family I had!” She fell to the floor, sobbing. Glorna knelt down beside the girl, trying his best to comfort her.
She starred at the girl who she thought was her best friend, the girl who had framed her. She growled. “I never killed mine family!” Her yell carried through out the Hall, through out the village. Her eyes started glowing and angry blood red, then bright, shiny, white fangs emerged from her upper lip. Her voice grew icy as she continued. “She killed mine family!” The elders drew back in horror as the girl gave a great bat-like screech.
“NO! SAKURI!” she heard the voice of her mother shout in her head. “DON’T DO IT!”
“I must, mother,” she hissed, launching forward and taking hold of Mirana. “She is the one who killed thee…”
“SAKURI!” It was too late. She was already pulling the girl out toward the creepy forest on the edge of the village.
