Enough To Me

Don’t give me one of your lies.

It’s not out of your mouth

and already I see.

I can see it in your eyes

And I’ve had about enough.

Haven’t you done enough to me?

Here I stand alone

With my pentagon of heartbreak

And your broken promise close at hand.

Please cover your emotions

So I cannot see your face

Cos hearing you is all I can stand.

The blame falls on you

I wouldn’t do it to myself.

Don’t try to tell me it was me.

Face it please, we’re through

You’re no good for my health

It wasn’t meant to be. Set me free.

Here I stand alone

With my pentagon of heartbreak

And your broken promise close at hand.

Please cover your emotions

So I cannot see your face

Cos hearing you is all I can stand.

Haven’t you done enough to me?

It had to be you, cos it wasn’t me.
