poems I wrote for English class.

Life is like a mosaic.

Bits and pieces of glass,

Sharp and shattered.

But together, cemented in,

The pieces glitter,

Each alone, yet

A brilliant picture emerges

Shattered hopes

Cemented with friendship,

Repair to become beauty.

Life is like a fog covered grove.

Mystery and the unknown rule.

Throughout the fog lurk trees,

Ready to grab and tear,

Hidden holes wait for unwary feet

Yet a sense of awe wraps around.

Hidden flowers gather,

Silently alluring.

Sweet scents drift,

Tantalizing.
