Will The Clouds Dance?
by Tyde
[- + -]
[Spoken] I’ve noticed when no one is paying attention
that after the rain has gone the clouds will dance
They don’t titter back and forth in no particular order
They dance with grandeur
They waltz up in the sky [End spoken]
People ask me will the clouds dance
Once the rain has gone away?
And I tell them, darling
They’ll dance with grandeur
They’ll waltz up in the sky
Two-stepping, over your head
Foxtrottin’ like Ginger and Fred
You don’t notice, cause they’re rather shy
They only do it when the sun’s high in the sky
If you look closely you can see them stepping
From Montana to the Rio Grande
Their dance cards are always open
When the birds strike up their vocal band
People ask me will the clouds dance
Once the rain has gone away?
And I tell them, darling
They’ll dance with grandeur
They’ll waltz up in the sky
Two-stepping, over your head
Foxtrottin’ like Ginger and Fred
You don’t notice, cause they’re rather shy
They only do it when the sun’s high in the sky
Sometimes you can almost hear them singing
Along to the songs that come from heaven
They’re praising their time together
Before the winds blow them here and there
Oh yes they dance, they dance with grandeur
They waltz up in that sky
They’re dancing for you and me
Two-stepping till the end of time
