A/N: Ok its is seriously like 11:20pm at night and insomnia has hit me yet AGAIN! So I am up online until mum yells for me to get off then it will be infront of the TV I go! I wrote this thinking about going into grade 12 this year and the stress, and thinking about depression!!!

I was once afraid of death,
Not now, not anymore,
I've said good-bye to too
Many people I love and care about.

I've stared death in the face
I've held it in my hand,
And then with all my power
I have put the blade down,
Loosened the rope,
Stopped the tablets
And pulled my head from under the water.

I've been in control
Only to realise I wasn't
I've to stop pain
Only to realise it caused more.

I've held one of my friends
Back from jumping, ending it all at school
I've had my share of tears
And I've hugged those crying.

Death may be only the beginning
But it is not the answer.
