Poem I just made up after reading something. Hopefully readers will get the emotions that I'm trying to portray here.

My One Mistake

You've hurt me
one to many times.

You've beat me
over and over.

You've raped my mind
again and again.

You've played me as a fool
like the guitar you've already mastered.

Pleading for me to forgive.
Placing guilt into my mind.
Wishing we could become friends again
while secretly wanting to forget.

I've had enough
I've been hurt one to many times.

You say you made a mistake
that I've made a mistake
everyone makes mistakes
it's only human.

The only mistake I've made is letting you know me.
