Love is filled with sweet molasses

Chocolate-covered candy days

We can't let them make us turn ourselves

into jackasses

We've got to stop them before they take

all our happiness away

They turn a corner as we settle down

They make us believe that there is no solid

They try to wither us down, down, down

They try to make us believe that we are not

each other's solid ground

They don't know you like I know you

They could never know you like I know you

For love is as unique as the lovers themselves

Love is a game only two can play- can share

In love, you've both got to be yourselves

With love,comes happiness...happiness that you

never knew was even there

They don't realize how much love we hold for one another

They don't realize how much I want to be with you

They don't realize how much love lies under

They don't understand how much your love for me is true

They turn a corner as we settle ourselves down

They try to make us believe that there is no solid ground

They listen intently trying to find a wrong

Yet, there is no wrong- only a bittersweet song

They have tried to ruin our happiness all along

But this is who we are -happy and in love- and for that
