I Await the Day

I'm sick of life
I'm tired of it
this mundane exsistance

I'm stuck in a cage
I want to fly
But my wings are clipped
steadfast to my side

I want to just walk out one day
and never return again
But I know for sure, deep inside
these bonds will always stay

I hear you snicker down the link
but you know not what I think
you judge me whatever way you like
I'm just too tired to fight

But deep within me
a ferocious pain
engulfs me up
tears my soul apart

The day will come
The utmost peak
The mercy whip
The backlash flips

The other end of the spectrum
The light shining bright
The voice singing out
Finally Be At Peace
