A shame

And they say it’s a waste

What a terrible shame

A girl like me in love with a girl like you

Say I could have been someone

I would be no-one with out you.

I wish they wouldn’t gape when I hold your hand

They cover their eyes when I kiss your mouth

Call me names, shout and hit.

Don’t bother me

I don’t want to ever give this up baby.

And they say it’s wrong

Against normality

For me to care this way about other girls you see.

But when I’m wanting you like your needing me

None of that seems to matter to me.

I wish they wouldn’t stair when I hold your hand

They cover their eyes when I kiss your mouth

Call me names, shout and hit.

Don’t bother me

I don’t want to ever give this up baby.

I try to pretend that I’m someone else

Smile and laugh with the rest of the class

But looking at you with smouldering eyes

Gives the game away instantly

Mama scolds me for loving you

Father will pray

But holding your hand drives them all away.

Reviews would be nice
