I wrote this poem in Language arts class, but it’s good so I decided to put it on this website.

Fear

A strange shadow creeping close,

The horrible scent of rotting flesh.

As you hear a footstep close behind,

You get the feeling something is coming.

Nothing can come to harm you,

The sweet scent of cinnamon surrounding your nostrils,

Whispering sweet nothings in their ear,

This is what life was made for.

I like my first poem better, but that’s just me. Please review, and tell me at least that you read these poems. I love it when I know someone out there reads poems.
