In the Gray

I had a really weird dream that lead to this, but I really liked it! There was a dark angel that got asked to dance by a light demon, and she accepted. Everyone else was just watching as they danced and then began to fly while still dancing! It was really awesome!! Anyway, I believe that things are not always what we want them to be, nor what we assume. I also think that choosing the middle path is taking a side not the easy way out. I think it is looking at things differently than either of the other sides and can make compromises and it can lean either way.

Are angels all good?

Nothing wrong, no mistakes?

No ill thoughts or slips of tongue?

Are they pure?

Are demons all bad?

Never helping anyone?

Never thinking of a peace or freedom?

Are they impure?

I want to be the gray,

What comes between the white and the black

I want to walk the middle path

I want to see the world as gray,

I will make my own side

I will believe what I want to.

I will be a dark angel,

A light demon,

I will be who I will be.

I want to walk the path between the darkness and light,

The path between right and wrong

I will be the gray,

The one in the gray,

Between the black and the white,

The one who chooses my own path,

The one who is free.
