*Invisible Tears*

I try
To cry
But all
That falls,
Are clear,
Invisible tears.

My shoulders shake,
As I sob the fake
Tears that will not drip
As I slip
Back to the memory
I did see.

Because of you
And what you do
Behind my back
Will always lack
The love I have
And could've gave.

You don't see
My glistening tears
Because I have held them
For many years
To prove my strength
To such a length.

Now I cannot cry,
When very hard I try,
To release my pain
And all the strain
Through all these years,
To nothing, but invisible tears.
