Darkness

Hey look, I found unposted stuff, from over a year ago. Wow. Anyway,
here you go. Please read and review.

Well, this is just something that came to me in English class, when my
teacher was talking about symbolism and how darkness usually means evil
or badness, and how light is supposed to be goodness and stuff.
Personally, I like night-time a lot more than day.

~*~*~*~

The darkness comforts me,
Caresses me,
Holds me and hides me,
Shelters me from the painful light,
Keeps me safe from the harm
That always comes with the sun.

I know that I will always have to go back to the day,
To confront the world again.
But for now, I can rest,
Stop holding up the world,
And just let myself be held up, for once.
Just let go, and let the world move on,
Without me for a time.

Okay, that was kinda pointless. Review anyway? Please?
