Darkness Storms

Episode I

Long ago in the Kingdom of Allius Egypt lived a princess. Her name was Sorrarra and every man in the kingdom wished to marry her. But Sorrarra didn't want just any man.

Her heart longed for the young and handsome head of armed forces Captain Saihuna. Every time Sorrarra laid eyes on him she knew that they were meant to be. However there was a small problem. Her father had a very different idea of how Sorrarra's love life should be planed. But one thing the king didn't know about was that every night even against her father's wishes Sorrarra would sneak down to Saihuna's battle station. It was at this place on that fateful night that Sorrarra would meet the being of the end for Allius Egypt.

Far away from the Allius Egyptian castle a demon shrouded in black spoke to his sidekick Chammu. But Chammu was not a normal sidekick…he was a physic sidekick!

"Tell me Chammu. Have you had any of your premonitions of late?" the demon asked.

"No master Belbuno." Chammu muttered. The truth was he had been having his premonitions lately. And he felt quite certain that they would lead him to a very short life span indeed.

"I see." Belbuno said quietly. "You would tell me if you were having them would you not Chammu? Tell me you would not deceive your master."

"No master Belbuno." Chammu murmured again.

Belbuno smirked fiendishly.

"Very good Chammu. You remember what tonight is do you not Chammu?"

"Yes master Belbuno. This is the night on which we raid the palace and steal the princess for your self."

"Saihuna!" Sorrarra cried happily running to her beloved one.

"Tell me lovely one." Saihuna murmured embracing her, "When are you going to inform your father about us?"

"Never. Not as long as he lives, which by the look of things won't be much longer."

Saihuna sighed sadly.

"Please Sorrarra," he moaned, "Don't speak of your father's death in vain."

Sorrarra shook her head.

"I don't." she said earnestly. "Believe me Saihuna. I want my father to die. Yes I know how evil such a though is but 'tis the truth." Her big, green eyes filled with tears. "I wish more to live with you than my father. And I swear it on my honor."

Saihuna gave a halfhearted and harsh laugh.

"Don't waist you love or honor on me." He said bitterly. "I cannot love…only hurt."

At that moment Sorrarra understood. She knew that Saihuna had lost his family at a very young age when he had come to work for the king.

"Worry not my love." She whispered soothingly. "I shall ease your wounded heart."

Saihuna smiled.

"Thank your princess." He said kindly.

He then ran his scarred and battered hands through Sorrarra's silky black hair.

It came to Chammu around this time. One of his images, this one showed his master being dead on the ground and a wounded but victorious princess standing above him draping her arms over Captain Saihuna. For a moment Chammu actually considered telling Belbuno but then he remembered his wits and kept his mouth shut.

"There it is Chammu." Belbuno said smiling his evil smile. "L'endroit d'Allius Egypte."

"Uh-huh…" Chammu said absently. "Yeah. The Palace of Allius Egypt."

"Is something on your mind Chammu?" Belbuno asked.

"Uh-huh."

Belbuno sweatdroped and starred blankly at Chammu.

"Care to enlighten me?"

"Nope."

Belbuno fell over at these words.

"Why did they assign me you?" Belbuno asked dryly returning to his feet.

"Saihuna…tell me what you're thinking about?" Sorrarra said softly.

Saihuna smiled a little as the wind blew gently about them. It played carelessly with his dark brown hair.

"Fate." He replied.

Sorrarra nodded. She could tell that Saihuna didn't wish to discuss his personal affairs with her at this time.

"Saihuna? If something were to happen to me would you come to my rescue?" she asked.

"As captain it would be my duty princess." He told her quietly.

Sorrarra sighed.

"I didn't mean it in a business manner. I meant would you want to save me?"

Saihuna didn't answer right away.

"Better to rescue you than get fired." Was his quiet reply.

Sorrarra smiled sadly. Saihuna would always be himself and she loved him for it. She just wished that he could also be a bit friendlier at the same time.

"Are you ready Chammu?" Belbuno asked as they entered the palace grounds. "This is our only chance to succeed were others have failed. And I shall marry the princess Sorrarra!"

To be continued…

Mistress: Yes? No? Good? Bad? ANYTHING?!

Sannji: Please excuse her. She is having one of her days.

Mistress: One of my…days? -.-; Care to enlighten me? I don't recall them.

Sannji ^^; Uh R&R!
