Author's Note: This is very personal to me. It's written for someone that I hold close, and I hope she never forgets.

Once in a Blue Moon,
I see the stars.
And she comes to me,
singing like the angel that I know she is.
Her wings peek through her cloak,
and beauty and grace surrounds her.
Her piercing eyes burn holes into mine,
and I can see everything through her shimmering pools of emotion.
She kept so many emotions there.
Loneliness, sadness,
Bitterness, Hate,
Pity, Anger,
Frustration, Pain.
The list goes on and on.
The one emotion that I found unexpectantly is love.
Her eyes show me, that in a world of malfunction, there will still be love.
Once in a Blue Moon,
I see the stars.
I think of my angel,
and everything becomes peaceful again.
