Day Dreams
Her head lay infront of her in folded arms. She sat at her desk at the back of the class,
closing her eyes she listened to the gently rate of her heart. In this place she was too weak
to stop the thoughts she had been fighting out all day from coming to the forefront of her mind.
His image filled her head, first she saw him as and where she had seen him the day before,
in this room. Then she focused on his face, his eyes, his lips, and his voice.
The images changed as her mind swam with the vision of him making love to her slowly
in some mystical setting where all that existed was him and the exquisite way he made her feel.
She held on to him tightly, her breathing rate quickened and the beat of her heart was now a loud
thudding in her ears as her body responded to the images of her fantasy.
She was ripped away from the blissful peace she felt with him as she felt a feather light touch
on her temple and a tickle on her cheek, the touch moved slowly behind her ear pulling unkept
strands of her hair from her face. When she felt nothing more she removed her head from it's
comfortable place in her folded arms and looked up infront of her.
She had expected to feel that familliar unease, the butterflies and the nervousness that usually
assalted her sences when she saw him. Oddly she was calm, her breathing still a little heavy but
he wouldn't notice. Her heart still pounded loudly in her ears though and she wondered if that
would give her away.
"Tired?" He asked his voice low and soft. She swallowed and felt her skin tingle and goose
pimples appeared all over her flesh.
She shook her head slowly "Just day dreaming..." Her gaze was steadly locked on his. She
marvelled at how long she managed to look at him with out looking away.
A small smile played on his lips as he nodded, not making a move to leave he just looked at her,
and she looked back. His smile had faded and she felt as though his eyes looked straight through
her to her soul, she imagined he could see everything that was going on in her mind as if it were
a well illustrated book. At that thought her stomach knotted and flipped as her cheeks flushed
pink and she tore her gaze from his, closing the book.
She reached down to the bag by her side and pulled it to her lap, rummageing through it she
pretending to look for her class books for the reason as to why she had looked away, thinking
she heard a small sigh she watched him out of the corner of her eye, turn and walk away, when he
disappeared in to his little office she let out a huge breath that she hadn't known she was
holding in.
She placed her book on the table, opening the book she began to read the last lessons notes, a
stray lock of brown hair fell into her view, absently brushing it behind her ear, the memory of
his touch filled her mind, then she thought of the strange way he had looked at her, she looked
up towards his office and for a split second she actually thought that it all had happened.
Chuckling she shook her head, to her, every look that he gave her was almost a profound
statement of his undeniable attraction, shaking off the rediculas thoughts she resumed reading
desciding that she had better stop her fantasies as she was now beginning to think they were real.
The End
