The bird

Reckless as can be

Sailed into my window last night

Told me of a tale

About a thousand men who were eaten at sea

Hearts devoured and spirits shot

Spirits devoured and hearts shot

He told me of a tale

About a thousand men who were like me

Sailing at sea

With different problems and very recklessly

Hearts torn out and spirits dissolved

Spirits torn out and hearts dissolved

With vibrant read colors and black lagoon

They came and they saw

And they liked what they saw

And they claimed it theirs

The bird

Came to my heart last night

And opened it up to those who loved me
