I could tell you all the things
That those who came before me
Have already said
I could tell you your eyes
Shine brighter than the moon and stars
Or are entrancing hues of brown
But then I’d be saying things,
That others have already written down
No it’s better to think for my own
And search all across the heavens
For the perfect line
To say that when I look into your eyes
My heart then decides
A marathon would be too easy
Or that they mesmerize
To hold me spellbound and paralyzed
That universes pass and stars are born and die
In the slightest moment,
That I have to look into your eyes
