A/N: Hmm. Yes. A poem. With no punctuation or capitalization. Sorry, but it needed to be that way.

requiem

ominous and hardly satisfying

spreading into the sane clean white

the depth of her pain engulfs her

in it’s entirety holding the power

being the only one

to destroy her

yanking at her from either side

she clambers to stop

one at a time

they multiply

she stops one others start

yet she still has hope

hope for one day

she can stop them

fading fading quickly

the giant overpowers jack

in this story gone wrong

digging deeper in her hole of despair

her hopes bides her farewell

it must find a stronger host

she digs deeper

her own grave

writes her own epitaph

and this

this her requiem
