Bridges of gold
Tying teeth together
With their diet leaving the holes
The Egyptians practiced their dentistry

No longer are the Ancient Greeks brushing
Using iron rust and talcum powder
To rub sore teeth into
A less plaque filled luster

Today we feel the vibration without pain
When smelling blood and burning bone
Thanks to shots of lidocaine
When modern dentistry fixes our cavities
