Here I sit alone in my room
Watching the grey morning sky
Dropping cold rain down upon
Not quite frozen ground
Wishing you were here with me
Off alone, in another place
Sitting by a fire crackling away
While I gently brush the hair out of your face
Enjoying a moment
Full of peace and tranquility
Sitting together ignoring the world
Without the need for words
Letting go the masks that we wear
Comfortable just being, here in silence
For once, it would be we, instead of just me
