All that once loved

Will find a way

Into heaven's arms

They will never fail

For love is a garden

Tended with care

Red roses surround

Symbolize fires of passion

In my garden, love is gone

Absent in a time of hunger

Starving me with greedy eyes

Clawing at my soul

A black rose blooms

Upon my wretched name

Forever declared alone

Petals that speak no calm

Silk upon an ivory face

Pales with the setting sun

This dies in a deserted garden

Never filled with love
