She sits,

She cries,

She screams inside,

She's hurting,

Nobody cares.

Tears fill her eyes,

And roll down her cheeks,

Filled with all the sorrow she speaks,

So rich they fall,

Yet so poor they feel

She's hungry,

She starves,

The hunger burns deep inside,

She's hurting,

Nobody cares.

She curls up in a ball,

Pleads with the pain,

"Please go away, I can't take it again"

She's helpless and alone,

The agony has grown

She weeps,

She sobs,

She's dying inside,

She's wanting,

Nobody's there.
