Mirror mirror on the wall
Staring at me down the hall
Take a stick that shatters quick
Smashy smash and make it fall

Step onto the scale so great
Find out if you've lost some weight
Take a bat
Smash it flat
Crush the stupid scales we hate

Limbs and tummy measure measure
Measuring tape like buried treasure
Scissors scissors
Oh what fun
Chop it up and then you're done

Mirrors mirrors show me me
Magazines what I could be
Take a can of gasoline
Burn the stupid magazine!

A/N: As you can see, when I wrote this poem I was pretty pissed off at the high value placed on image in our society. It seems like everyone around me is obsessed with the way they look. I can't stand people's standards for the 'ideal' appearance. This poem is the result. It's unpunctuated for a reason; I tried it and it took away from the effect.
