Something I wrote when a friend told me a secret and I got the thinking about all the secrets I have.
Spewed Guts

If a friend spills their guts to you
are you not expected to do the same?

If they tell you a secret
do you have to tell them one?

If they tell you what it feels like to love
are you supposed to be able to feel it too?

When you told me your secret
I was supposed to tell you mine.

I'm sorry for not being a true friend
but I don't feel like cleaning up my spilled guts
after you stomp all over them.
