Hey guys, this is just an untitled story I started to write in English. It'll probably gain a title eventually. Hope you guys like it.
A young girl sat on a swing in the local park. She had golden blonde hair that was pulled into a high ponytail. When lose, it reached the ground. She had deep forest green eyes hidden behind long, golden bangs.

The birds chirped melodiously as she swung back and forth. She hummed a soft tune under her breath as she focused on the clouds that were drifting slowly across the sky. A few tears rolled down her cheeks.

Across the city, a young man sat in his room. It was pitch black. He blared his stereo loudly, ignoring the angry shouts of his father. His light brown eyes were unusually dark and his midnight coloured hair was messed more than usual. He lied back on his bed and let out a depressed sigh.

"Never again," he mumbled aloud.

"Merow," was the reply he received. A pudgy blue Persian jumped on his bed and curled up by his face. The young man scratched between his cat's ears.

"I knew you'd come to comfort me Mud," he said softly.

"Merow," Mud added. Mud was his two-year-old cat. He found her in a ditch and brought her home. Mad acquired her name because she was covered in mud when she was rescued.

A knock sounded at his door, followed by, "Xander, are you okay?" The young man, Xander, sighed and lowered the volume on his stereo.

"I'm fine Mom!" he yelled, praying his nosey mother would go away.

"Are you sure Sweetie?" she asked worriedly.

"Yes!!" thundered the exasperated youth.
