Lonely-and-Depressed

There was this new deaf boy

He came to a new school

One day

Where everyone were cool

No one knew his actual name

For he was called Lonely-and-Depressed

His school was as just he expected: the same

Everyone teased him and put him under pressure,

They would never leave Lonely-and-Depressed alone

Even the kind people treated him badly

So as usual, he quickly became a lone

He could not hear, sadly

So they made harsh and taunting comments behind his back

Especially at his nerdiness and geeky glasses

They would throw all kinds of paper and trash at him in class

Lonely-and-Depressed hated it so much that he thought he had to pack

His bags and leave school for good.

But suddenly, one day a stranger came up to Lonely-and-Depressed

Shook hands and said, ‘My name’s Popular-and-Happy’

The deaf boy was bewildered

Nevertheless, before he knew it, they became friends

Said Popular-and-Happy, ‘Want to grab some food?’

So they went but all the fiends

Envied them both

But surprisingly Lonely-and-Depressed was never bothered

Never again.

No more abusive names and treatments,

No more horrible pain

No more having to go home after school with bruises all over the place

From now on,

The two boys now make commitments

That they will grow up and be best friends for life

Dedicating themselves to each other

Forever and through

Now Lonely-and-Depressed led a happy life ever after.
