Forgotten

As the sun sets in the evenings twilight,
And cars wander by,
I am alone,
Trapped on this small mound,
A trap of my own making,
In my own mind,
I am so alone,
So lost,
I feel like I have been forgotten by the world,
But with depth and reason,
I am nothing anymore,
Then a distant shadow,
In the world of the Light
