Accepting Beauty
By blue-raindrop
Pale lips beneath these smooth crimson ones,
Cheeks polished with a pink blush
Eyes brushed with colors that sparkle magnificently in the dark
Petals have kissed these false layers of beauty
Balls of vision sparkle in pleasure- but not yours.
Wrong pairs of eyes- wrong, wrong!
The overused tactic is failing me!
Not a single glance of your attention toward me..
Depression manifests itself in tears.
Pure drops of silver tears sliding,
Mingling with my fake countenance.
Your figure approaching me reluctantly
Why now? I reach for the charming facial dust a second too late-
A warm smile on your lips, voice serenading
Two puckered petals kissing pale beauty,
Whispers to my heart
"I was afraid I wasn't worthy
of approaching the goddess of beauty."
^_^ How do you like? The guy is sweet! Will be incorporated in my fic somehow, since I really like this one.
