It was a dark night and stormy night. A group of about twenty year olds walked down the street. It was 1953, they were all cool but a little scary. These were the Goths of the fifties, but they looked like the Goths of the present. They wore black leather, white makeup, and dyed their hair jet-black.

Then as they were walking down the street came a man with a top hat. He had bags under his bloodshot eyes and his skin was as pale as milk.

"Hello, you look like you young people want to join the living dead," came a soft, sinister voice.

"What gave you that idea old man," said the tallest and strongest.

"It just seemed the way you dressed and what your like."

"How do you know what we like!"

"I have my ways," the old man pulled out a book it read on the cover How To Become A Vampire, "I believe this is one of yours."

"You know we don't appreciate people messing with our stuff."

"I think I can help you become a vampire," after he said that he opened his mouth to unveil inch long incisors that were dark red. They were dripping with blood. The group wanted to run away, but they couldn't, they were to taken with the spectacle to take their eyes off him.

"Now you can join me.." As he said that a new evil took his eye, one of killing for the fun of it, " in a living nightmare." Then he lunged, but they let him feast. He made pencil sized holes in their skin and lapped up the blood that spewed from it. Their skin became even paler than before; you could see the veins running through their heads. The man did one thing before he left, with each one he left a skull made out of metal with jewel eyes each one a different color that they could wear on their necks.

Then he made sure the coast was clear. When he saw that nobody was around he spread open the black trench coat he was wearing. Then his arms and the cape joined to form wings and he started to shrink. His head turned from human to bat, as did his whole body. Then he flew off into the night, he was happy that now he could die that he had passed on the spirits that had been keeping him alive. Now his nightmare would end and he would finally be freed from his living night and would die forever.
