Cataclysmic Distance

Is it truly possible for us

To remain together after dusk,

To fly together amongst the stars,

To heal each other's tears and scars,

To be together and smile at the sky,

To always live with the starry night,

To stay together and watch the dawn,

To lie in the sun and never be gone,

To never leave the other alone,

To say "I love you, you're my own",

To never have to worry or fear,

And know the other is always near?

Or is the distance too far to hear?
