Flight of Love

September 29, 2002

Wind blows softly on my face,

Playing in my hair,

Rain is, as light as lace,

Making a path down my cheek.

Floating on the wings

Of love,

So many things

Do I think of you.

My back against your chest,

Chin rested on my head,

In your arms, I rest,

Love like this is rare...

I have filled my head

With thoughts of you,

And as I lay in my bed

You are never very far.

But my heart can't take

Your absence any longer,

Replace this pain you make,

With the love we share.

You fill my cup:

Your smile, your laugh, your song;

They lift me up

On the wings of love.

Love isn't love at all,

When you are away from me.

Don't let me fall,

I'm putting all my faith in you.

I know that I love you-

In every way, shape, and form.

Tell me that you love me too,

That I am loved, truly.
