Black and White
Author:
Mistress Jakira PM
As the title sort of suggests, this is a real short rant (in poem form!) about racism. I thought I wanted to say something profound for my 100th overall post.

Black and White

We're all black when there is no light,
We're all white when it's too bright;
So how different can be your opinion of him
When God switches the light to 'dim'?

Author's Notes: This was kind of a short little rant about racism. It was sparked by my aunt and grandmother, who didn't approve of my boyfriend because he's black. But that's ridiculous...so I just used this to vent it out. I think it's a fine point. =P Anyway, thanks for reading (and reviewing, if you have done or plan on doing that). Racism sucks; ja ne! ;^) ~MJ
