Day Dream

A strange stillness was about a girl, who sat in a chair at a table. Her eye's had a glazed, glassy look and stared off into space. Her arms were limp besides her, with frizzy hair that looked as if it had been dyed far too many times scattered over her lax shoulders. Her pale, pointed chin was propped up against the desk in which she sat at.

She was in a small, dull room, with many other children her age chatting quietly. Tick, Tick, Tick went a round, cherry red Coco Cola clock; it's sound vibrating around the still room. The Room was a gloomy grey, with buzzing electric lights, because it had no windows. In fact, it was a normal room by all accounts, except no one noticed the wretched girl, or her strange stillness. Did they care at all? Why do they disregard this lone girl at the desk and her pale waxy face?

Well, you have to give merit to the fact that she's not had an easy life. Her grades have sloped steadily down, her drugs slopped steadily up. Her friends got tired of her sullen silence and her constant gloominess. Her parents were about to split, if they didn't end up killing each other first. The troubles of life seamed to have no escape, and death was one alterative that she had turned over in her tortured brain, the one that seamed the most probable.

Tick, tick, tick goes the clock, and seconds slowly creep by. Then finally the annoying BEEEEP sounded, cutting through the heavy quiet. The girl blinked, shook her head and started through the door, bringing a resolution with her.

THE END
